(Photoarchivenews.com) London based interiors photo library Red Cover is taking steps to wind down. Contributing photographers have been given the chance to send hard drives to agency’s offices in Islington to retrieve their images. Rumors started flooding into the Photoarchivenews.com office this afternoon and after calling the agency a few times we were met only by an answer machine.. the website is still up The agency hit problems in 2008 with the issuing of a Company Voluntary Arrangement but contributors agreed to work with the agency to try and save the company going forward

UPDATE 7.45pm: Excerpt from an email seen by photoarchivenews.com photoarchivenews.com ‘It is with regret that we are writing to notify you that Red Cover is taking the steps to cease trading and close the business down. We did our best to trade out of a difficult situation but we have now concluded that it will not be possible to continue trading the company’
